GEF 2025/1.2
General description of fission observables,
released on June 25, 2025, update on July 17, 2025 (a technical issue with AWR solved),
update on September 8, 2025 (deformation of light fragments in S3 mode modified, some minor technical issues solved)
Short characterisation of GEF 2025/1.2:
Compared to GEF 2025/1.1, several model parameters were slightly modified
by adjustment to specific data.

Stand-alone version (Monte-Carlo method)
The full GEF code, including the delayed processes after beta decay, is
available here.
Three compiled files (ready to use by just starting the corresponding executable) are included:
GEF32 on LINUX, 32 bit (should be renamced to GEF before use)
GEF64 on LINUX, 64 bit (should be renamed to GEF before use)
GEF.exe on WINDOWS.
On LINUX: Start GEF with the command ./GEF. The input is entered by a dialogue.
On WINDOWS: Start GEF with the command GEF.bat. The input is entered by a GUI.
GEF executables with special options can be produced by re-compiling the
code after chosing the appropriate options in the source code.
Subroutine (Folding method)
The
folding method is not limited in calculating very low yields. In the
package offered below, the lower limit is set to 10-7. This value can
be changed by adapting the parameter Ymin in the file GEFSUBdcl2.FOR.
(The
compiler will state that a bunch of variables, which are used in the
Monte-Carlo version are not used in the folding version. This has no
influence on the results.)
